2. Bistro 8

Location: 2069 SW 8th Street, Little Havana

Bistro 8 offers an elevated Mexican dining experience, blending Mexican and French culinary techniques under the creative direction of Chef Pancho Ibáñez, formerly of the two-Michelin-starred Pujol in Mexico City. The intimate 40-seat dining area provides a personalized, exclusive ambiance and an unforgettable take on Mexican-French fusion.

Menu Highlight: Tostada de camaron—a shrimp tostada that balances freshness and spice, showcasing the chef's innovative spin on traditional flavors.

3. Uchiko

Location: 1759 Purdy Ave., Sunset Harbour, Miami Beach

Uchiko, a Japanese-inspired concept by James Beard Award-winning chef Tyson Cole, makes its East Coast debut in Miami Beach. The menu features yakitori grill dishes, small plates, nigiri, and larger entrees, complemented by a beverage program that includes Japanese whiskies, sake, and craft cocktails.

4. Gaia

Location: 801 S. Pointe Drive, South of Fifth, Miami Beach

Gaia introduces luxury Greek-Mediterranean cuisine to Miami Beach, crafted by British-Nigerian Chef Izu Ani. The menu emphasizes fresh seafood and traditional Greek flavors, set in an elegant space that pays homage to how beautiful the Mediterranean is.

Menu Highlight: Another whole grilled branzino is just as good when served in the Mediterranean. This simple yet flavorful dish highlights the freshness of the sea and is served with a selection of authentic Greek sides.

5. L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Location: 151 NE 41st St., Design District

L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon offers modern French fine dining in a sleek and sophisticated setting. The open kitchen design allows guests to observe the culinary artistry that goes into each meticulously prepared dish.

Menu Highlight:
La Caille—free-range quail stuffed with foie gras, served with truffled mashed potatoes – let us say that again. Quail that is stuffed with foie gras and served alongside truffle mashed potatoes. Need we say more?

An elegant and contemporary ambiance, perfect for those seeking a high-end dining experience with impeccable service.

6. Hiden

Location: 313 NW 25th St., Wynwood

Hiden is an eight-seat counter restaurant offering authentic Japanese omakase. It is accessible only through a secret entrance behind a taco stand.

Menu Highlight:
Seasonal omakase—a chef’s tasting menu that changes regularly and features the finest ingredients, some even sourced internationally.

Vibe:
This is an incredibly personalized and intimate setting for Chef Tadashi Shiraishi’s exquisite creations, which are as fun to find as they are to savor.

7. Naoe

Location: 661 Brickell Key Dr., Brickell Key

Naoe is an exclusive omakase restaurant offering a personalized dining experience under the creative expertise of Chef Kevin Cory. With only a few seats available, reservations are essential for this outrageously special experience.

Menu Highlight:
The chef’s choice omakase is a multi-course meal featuring the freshest seafood and seasonal ingredients, meticulously prepared to perfection right in front of you.

Vibe:
An intimate and exclusive setting where attention to detail and personalized service create a charmingly romantic atmosphere, perfect for any special occasion.

8. Oche Miami

Location: 111 NE 41st St., Design District

Oche Miami reinvents the concept of dining and entertainment by blending upscale dining with interactive darts—yes, like the darts you’d play in a bar. This multi-level venue is perfect for groups and offers an eclectic menu that’s best when shared.

Menu Highlight:
Duck tacos—succulent duck paired with vibrant toppings, truly a dish that’s as playful as the venue itself.

Vibe:
Energetic and fun, with a modern and stylish aesthetic. Perfect for lively evenings with friends or colleagues.

The Wolf of Tacos

Location: The pop-up location varies, but @zeyzeymiami is a great place to start. Be sure to follow @thewolfoftacos and @aroapp.ai for updates!

If you love street food with a gourmet twist, The Wolf of Tacos is a must-try. Despite frequently changing locations, this pop-up is run by talented chefs Eduardo Lara and Pablo Zitzmann, who use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create tacos that Miami foodies rave about (and follow for good reason!).

Menu Highlight:
The al pastor taco features marinated pork cooked on a spit and served with pineapple and cilantro for a burst of flavor – and let us assure you, Lara and Zitzmann are experts at honoring their flavor(ful) roots. 

Vibe:
Casual and fun, with street-food authenticity and the savory buzz of discovering your new favorite taco spot. Expect to socialize or go find yourself a place to dig in!

El Palacio De Los Jugos

Location: 5721 W Flagler St., Miami

As Miami natives ourselves, we had to give credit where credit was due. Visit El Palacio De Los Jugos to experience a beloved local spot offering a vibrant array of fresh juices, Cuban sandwiches, and traditional Latin dishes. It’s a must-visit if you’re looking to get a taste of “the real” Miami. 

Menu Highlight:
Freshly made guava juice—a sweet and refreshing beverage that perfectly complements their legendary Pan con Bistec.

Vibe:
Be ready to have a hard time choosing what to order at the counter, and when in doubt, order more for later!
